While this new stock gave M70 users a nice option, many viewed it as a half-baked attempt at the real deal. Hearing these complaints, Zastava decided to deliver what the people want by importing a true underfolder ZPAP M70 variant.

Although heavy, a Yugo underfolder is just a hair over 26 inches long, while an M4-gery with a 16" barrel is rougly 31.5 inches long with the stock fully collasped. It sounds like you picked up a CIA M70 AB2. 2 years +/- ago, they could be picked up for about $449.00. Then they went up to about $549.00 last year. I read often on forums about how painful it is to shoot the straight stock Yugo but honestly, I think it is due to how people get their cheek weld on this rifle. I always place the tip of my nose barely touching the receiver cover.

The M72 started life as one of the milled M72's that CFS had a while back.
