When do you get a dye stealer.
Maybe a silly question about dye stealer. Hi all, after promising myself I wouldn't test anymore, I did another one at 23 dpo. My 18 dpo test line was as dark as the control (I've attached pictures of both tests) Now I know it's a dye stealer, but after 5 days of no tests, both fmu, I wondered if I should have 'more' of a dye stealer.

JellysBean. Posted 25-06-20. My understanding is that you don’t really get the dye stealer effect with clear blue. This is mine at 6 weeks. While the test line is dark I’ve always see the same darkness of the control line on CB. At 6/7 weeks your hCG levels will be in the 1000s or 10000s, these tests are designed to measure from 10 or 25. My frers have been dye stealers and these ones are barely positive. I am 15dpo. Sorry my cat photobombed this one lol I am not putting much thought into these. Within range but lower than most people and it was still a dye stealer. Also, I had a blighted ovum in September and my hcg levels were fine until 8 weeks.

This time it got darker for sure but never a dye stealer (wondfo & FRER) and I'm 5w4d - not everyone gets one :) Like Different brands of tests have different sensitivities and some brands show dye stealers sooner than others.
