Right out of college I was on MassHealth. I was substitute teaching, so no bennies. I spent two years on Mass Health, then the next 13 on private insurance. I can say, without question, MassHealth was the best plan I've ever had. Insurance has been nothing but stress ever since, and financially crippling to boot.
