How much oil goes in a predator 212.
Make sure you are using the correct oil. Which begs the question, what brand and grade are you using? Use the wrong oil and you might induce some oil consumption, more than usual that is. EDIT: make certain that you check the oil with the kart on a level surface. Also, wipe the dipstick clean then re-insert and remove for a correct reading.
This is my first engine build also so I figured I would get some input from you pros. My build list is composed of: Hemi block. Hemi head home ported. Milled .022. Your 3PG engine runs in one direction for forward, and the opposite for reverse. The 212 is a four stroke and only runs one direction.
Pull the spark plug; leave the choke full OPEN/ OFF, and pull it thru at least a dozen start cycle's. Big heave and pull. I don't really see the point of de-stroking the 224 back down to 212cc, and pulling out the 224's forged crank to install an inferior cast crank. My opinion, Just keep your hemi crank where it is.
