Usually it means at maximum power it sounds great, and everything else is a compromised tone sucked version. I don’t really like attenuators, but the one built into the react IR was surprisingly useable.

Oct 11, 2023 · The IR-X takes pedals really well and the HX Effects sounds really good along with it. I'm running it in 4CM with the IR-X in the loop of the HX Effects basically. So I can do things like compressor and boost before the "amp" and then post effects like delay and reverb. The effects of the HX are pretty good. The Gladio SC (to me) is a bit more amp like compared to the Nobels or Nordland. The Nordland maybe a bit more transparent than the Nobels ODR-1 reissue. I also had a chance to check out a Browne Protein. Preferred the above mentioned pedals to it. Though I really liked the blue side of the Protein which is their Carbon OD.Getting ready to move?
