Relic worlds have a pretty nice amount of guaranteed mining/generator districts and higher amount of research provided, which makes them decent at tech worlds. Ecumenopolis is also nice, so it depends on your current needs by the looks of it.

IIRC, eucemenopolis had the same icon as relic world, but habitat has its own unique icon. Its extremely good at making tons of alloys. So if you get one of those as a hive mind keep it as it is. hive are nice for raw resources, ecu are for alloy mostly. Basically its a massive forge. I haven't gotten the chance to excavate it yet, but that might be the one you've been running into. If you're playing on a smaller galaxy, that would explain why you're running into it more often than randomly spawned relic worlds.
