Had a similar experience happen in week 2 of ToA release but with one slight difference. In our trio, all 3 party members stayed alive during P3 Warden. Except our party member who received the purple chest suffered from a bug where it was possible to get “trapped” in the P3 Warden room after the lightning phase.
Some additional information: Normal raids: ~ 100kc at 150 invo (the week where it was speculated speedy 150s are the way to go and going higher doesn't increase chance at drop) - this only gave me 1 purple (ward) lol. ~ 280 kc done at 240-250 invo - 9 purples. CAVEAT (please for the love of God read this) ToA has a lot of moving parts (invocations, damage, deaths, probably MVP bonuses and puzzle points), and the drop rates probably depend on all of them – this isn't like Nex where we can just say "the unique chance is 1/43" and call it a day.
