To spin 6+k rpm reliably in those it should e balanced to less than 1 gram. Also told the diesel cranks are way worse than the gasoline motors when it comes to being balanced... Mack: 2004 lb7. Well I've got a 2012 lml at work with a broken crank. Waiting to hear back from GM if the ecm calibrations are valid. Wondering if anyone else has seen this? ... Thanks Guys for the concerns, After all this is over I WILL shed so light on the Duramax broken crank problems and hopefully help someone else from having this pain, Like I always told my kids you learn from your mistakes, I already have a good idea of what caused this but still researching before I post my findings.
