You need to use the special power of the Bloodskal Blade to open the door. When you use power attacks with the bloodskal blade it will shoot out a red energy beam. You need to aim these beams at the red lines on the outside of the door. First will be two red horizontal lines to aim for on the left and right side of the door.This is why you save often. You could have saved at the Bloodskal door, and it might have fixed it. Would be great is the game had more autosave slots.
