It should give right around 2800 fps from a 22" barrel. Do start lower, though. The Sierra manual tops out at 43.7 grains, Nosler at 44.5, Speer at 45 and Hornady at just over 46.

I had one Sako A1 that would shoot less than an inch at 100 yards for five shot groups at 2825 fps with 140 BT's. That was 48.0 grs and flattened primers. My other favorite 7-08 powder is IMR-4350. I've loaded a LOT now for the 7mm-08. Great cartridge and easy to load for, especially from a Tikka. IMR 4350 will work very well. Use the 4895 for 120 grainers. Varget and 120's are classic whitetail fodder. Big Game works well with 120's too.
