In regards of mods for Stardew, it might be a slightly different process in installing SMAPI (the modding tool) if you have Stardew Valley installed in your micro sd card vs your internal drive. The only advantage I give Stardew Valley is performance and battery life. Dave the diver has a few areas where my frame rate dipped under 40 but it wasn't often and I'd maybe average 3-4 hours of battery.
