I cant figure out how to automate the inscriber with refined storage. It usually tells me the machine isn't accepting items. Any advice? AE2's Inscriber only takes item input from certain sides for certain slots, in other words, it's sided. Top = Top slot, Sides = Middle Slot/Output, Bottom = Bottom slot.

Super easy AE2 inscriber automation using hoppers. You could make this one block thinner - adjacent Chests and Trapped Chests don't connect. Cool idea though! I may do something like this next time around. Probably with itemducts / EnderIO conduits rather than hoppers, though.I just put an ME interface on a chest with a pattern that has silicon and say gold, and returns a finished processor. Export from the chest with conduits into 3 advanced inscribers. Set filters up so inscriber 1 only accepts silicon, inscriber 2 only accepts gold, and inscriber 3 accepts printed silicon and logic circuits.

You need to divide the craft into two parts. To do that you can use inscribers from AE2 and name presses. Name your two presses something like itemExtended and itemExtended2 (whatever you want really). Put an iron ingot inside and you will get a unique item named itemExtended.
