I did some shooting with the Tac-Con 3MR trigger a few years back. It was fun enough. I liked that it was paired with it's own safety so the third mode was the forced reset. The regular mode mas a pretty clean break / fast reset was fun enough itself to shoot. Similar to a 3 gun trigger from Geissele (SD-3G) or the Rise Armament 535 (two favorites)

While Tac-Con is no longer in business, they did get an ATF approval letter for the 3MR which, just as the FRT-15 does, captures bolt energy to force the reset of the trigger. I think that it is questionable that Rare Breed, the FRT's manufacturer, did not get an ATF letter.
